SUA has been KU’s student-run programming board for over 85 years. Members plan around 180 events a year from idea to execution including marketing, event design, budgeting, volunteer management, and more. All you have to do is fill out the Student Union Activities interest form below to join! Our recruitment and retention coordinator will contact you within two weeks to set up a time to meet. We’re in the business of making memories and we look forward to meeting you!
Two office hours per week
Office hours are utilized to plan and execute events, this includes making marketing materials, gathering event supplies, or making event decor!
Attend committee events and meetings
Committee meetings are held every other Monday at 6 pm, followed by a full board meeting at 6:30 pm. A full board is where members get informed on other committees and vote on event proposals
Maintain a 2.0 GPA
Members must also be enrolled at least one credit hour at KU
