Spring 2026 was a milestone semester for SUA as the Kansas Memorial Union celebrated its 100th anniversary. Events such as Union After Dark and Burge Bash brought students together to honor a century of community, tradition, and student life. In addition to these celebrations, SUA continued to offer a variety of engaging programs throughout the semester, hosting 48 events and welcoming 10,598 attendees.
In Fall 2025, SUA hosted 59 events that brought students together through a mix of returning traditions and new experiences. Popular events such as Jayhawk Amazing Race and Midwest Fall Fest returned to campus, while new events like SUArcade provided fresh opportunities for student engagement and community building. Throughout the semester, SUA welcomed 20,069 attendees!
In Fall 2023, SUA brought back popular events such at Cardboard Boat Regatta, Break-Fest, tailgates and more. They also partnered with over 15 campus organizations and departments. This semester we saw thousands of students with 26,974 attendees overall!
In Spring 2023, Student Union Activities (SUA) celebrated its 85th Birthday, welcomed JPEGMAFIA, Mary Lambert and Wyatt Hermansen to Lawrence and hosted the 2023 Kansas Drag Showcase! SUA saw and thousands of students with a total of 18,383 overall attendance!
SUA served 30,000 students in the Fall of 2022 with a variety of programs.
SUA welcomed and served about 20,000 attendees in Spring 2022 with events and entertainment.
